You can write your sound/sequence data to a compact flash card - the Akai MPC1000 supports sizes from 32MB to 2GB, so you'll never run out of space.

If you want to connect the Akai MPC1000 to your computer, you can do so via USB and use the drag and drop facility to and from your PC.

The Akai MPC1000 is so easy to just pick up and pad out your ideas, which is perfect for getting down those flashes of inspiration which can often be all too fleeting! Owners of any of the other Akai MPC models will find this particularly easy, as the MPC1000 inherits the same familiar interface.
